Culture and language lessons- Our school is committed to providing an inclusive education that extends and enriches the learning environment. As such, we offer a Dhangatti language sessions to each class with Aunty Cheryl Blair. Each class has a 45 min lesson each week for two terms ( 1and 3 or 2 and 4) to learn Dhangatti language.
All classes have been given an animal as their totem and are learning the Kempsey South Warcry.
Students are also involved in cultural dance groups and workshop. they then perform these dances during NAIDOC week celebrations.
