Kempsey South Public School prides itself on being at the forefront of educational delivery by ensuring that our staff are highly-trained and accredited, work collaboratively and collegially and strive for greatness in all aspects of school life. This enables us to dedicate every ounce of effort and experience to our students’ development and wellbeing. As a result of this, Kempsey South Public School is seen as a community leader and provides a nurturing and family-oriented environment where all stakeholders succeed and thrive.
Our involvement in Macleay Public Schools events allows each student to demonstrate their high potential and strengths through a variety of activities and challenges, whether they be chess, public speaking, spelling bees, choir, music festivals, STEM challenges, dance or debating. Strong participation in PSSA competitions provides our students with the arena to develop resilience and a sense of sportsmanship as well as skills in team building and humility. All very important characteristics to stand them in good stead into the future.
We proudly stand on Dunghutti land and instill in all of our students a sense of pride and belonging. With each class participating in language and culture lessons, we continue to work intimately with our community to provide all students with the knowledge and wisdom which will empower them to grow into outstanding leaders in their school, family and community.
A proud Connected Communities public school in the Macleay Valley, Kempsey South Public School enjoys strong working relationships with neighbouring schools and will draw on and share expertise to ensure that all students in this valley are provided with the opportunities and support to grow and excel.
